- Our first step will be to take precautions to prevent further fraud. Usually, this means putting a hold on a card or possibly your checking account.
- Second, we will be in contact at the first possible moment. At this time, we will discuss the issues and determine the exact situation and what steps to take to resolve it.
- Third, we will begin the recovery process. We say "process," but most of the work is on us. We may need some forms signed, but, again, we try to take as much of the work load.
- In rare situations, we may be looking at genuine identity theft rather than account fraud. If this is the case, we will get you set up, with an ID recovery specialist to protect you from future complications and restore any current issues.
